Dream Patrols present unique combat encounters in Wuthering Waves, each offering distinct challenges. While generally straightforward, some like the Knight in a Storm mission can prove tricky, particularly when understanding the encounter's special mechanics becomes crucial for completion.

Knight in a Storm Dream Patrol Guide

The Knight in a Storm presents an interesting combat puzzle - while the enemy itself isn't particularly difficult to defeat, players aiming to unlock all reward chests (containing valuable Astrites and Monnaie) will need to master the encounter's specific objectives.

Locating the Encounter

This Dream Patrol appears at the Shores of Last Breath area within Fagaceae Peninsula, east of Ragunna City. The challenge appears as a crossed swords icon on your map after activating the region's Resonance Nexus. For quick access, teleport to the nearby Tacet Field (the one that drops Carlotta's optimal Sonata set). Note this area becomes accessible only after completing the 'Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms' main quest.

Combat Objectives Breakdown

The Questless Knight fights similarly to other enemies in Rinascita, making the basic combat familiar. However, three specific challenges must be completed:

• Maintain S-Rank: Sustain maximum battle rank for over 10 seconds through perfect dodges, parries, and ability usage (including Intro/Outro skills)
• Weapon Interrupts: Execute 3 successful counterattacks when the knight enhances its weapon
• Ultimate Stun: Immobilize the enemy using Resonance Liberation to deplete its white stagger bar

Countering Enhanced Attacks

The knight's most distinctive mechanic involves summoning three swords and selecting one to empower its weapon. During this enhanced state, it will perform aerial lunge attacks - the ideal moment to counter. Watch for overlapping parry indicators above the knight's head, then strike to successfully counter. Repeat this three times to complete the weapon interrupt challenge.

Carlotta Players: Her jump attacks and rifle shots (including those during Resonance Liberation or with Molded Crystal stacks) can effectively parry the knight's enhanced attacks.
