Squares: Master the Daily Word Strand Puzzle!

Maximize your word count to achieve victory! Squares is a daily word strand puzzle and strategy game where players strategically complete squares on a grid to form words.

Gameplay:

Connect letters in any direction—up, down, left, right, or diagonally—to create words. Your objective is to uncover all words hidden within the letter grid and amass the highest possible score.

Game Rules:

• Scoring: Earn one point for each letter in a word (e.g., a five-letter word earns five points).
• Word Length: Words must contain at least four letters.
• Letter Usage: Each tile can only be used once per word.
• Excluded Words: Words with hyphens, proper nouns, offensive language, or uncommon terms are not included in the main word list.

Bonus Challenges:

• Bonus Words: Discover obscure, archaic, or slang terms. These words don't contribute to your score but appear on a separate bonus word list. Continue your search for these even after finding all main words (post-game).
• Word of the Day: Each puzzle features a special, often longer bonus word. Uncovering it rewards you with two extra hints!

Daily Puzzle & Features:

• Daily Puzzle: A new Squares puzzle is available daily at midnight.
• Grid Rotation: Rotate the grid left or right using the buttons in the bottom right corner for a fresh perspective.
• Letter Hints: After finding 40% of the words, a hint system activates, displaying a number on each letter indicating how many words begin with that letter. A zero indicates no words start with that letter. Orange letters are no longer used in main words but may appear in bonus words.
• Hints System: Each puzzle offers 3-5 hints (lightbulb icon). Using a hint reveals the first letter of a random word and its search direction. The number of hints depends on puzzle difficulty. Sharing the game link with friends grants one extra hint!
