Scrap Factory Automation: A First-Person Manufacturing Simulation

Scrap Factory Automation is a 3D, first-person simulation game centered around automated manufacturing. Boasting impressive graphics and engaging mechanics, the game challenges players to build and expand their own automated factory.

Initially, resource gathering is manual – collecting iron, copper, coal, stone, and wood by hand. However, players progressively automate production using mines, specialized machinery, and conveyor belts. Constructing buildings like smelters (for ore processing) and factories (for crafting complex materials) is crucial for efficient production. A power plant, integrated with automated mechanics, ensures a consistent electricity supply.

A key element of the game is the creation of a unique conveyor belt system. Players design and expand production chains across the entire factory, automating processes using specialized tools to connect conveyor belts and manage resource flow. Crafting recipes are discoverable, allowing for virtually limitless factory development.

The game encourages iterative improvement. Begin with manual resource extraction, then gradually build mines and connect them to transport belts. The ultimate goal is to create a completely self-sufficient manufacturing operation – a challenging but rewarding task. Players can share their impressive factory creations with the developers.
