Microsoft has launched two striking Witcher 3-themed Xbox controllers to mark a milestone. Both The Witcher 3 10th Anniversary Special Edition Xbox Controllers are now available exclusively at the Microsoft Store, offered in standard ($79.99) and Elite Series 2 ($169.99) variants. The release celebrates the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a landmark moment for fans of the iconic game.

Both controllers share a cohesive design, featuring intricate etchings inspired by Geralt of Rivia. The iconic wolf medallion, a signature of Geralt’s, is engraved at the controller’s center. According to the announcement, the controllers also showcase Glagolitic script, the ancient Slavic alphabet used in the game. The right grip bears bold red claw marks, echoing the “III” from the game’s cover art, delivering a visually stunning effect.
Beyond their Witcher-inspired aesthetics, these controllers function identically to their standard counterparts. The Xbox controller remains a standout, praised for its ergonomic design and durability, even under heavy use.
The Elite Series 2 variant offers premium features to justify its higher price, including adjustable thumbstick tension, hair trigger locks, and a textured, wrap-around grip. It also includes customizable components, such as varied thumbstick heights, multiple D-pad options, and programmable rear paddles.
These controllers are fully compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android devices. For those with diverse gaming setups, the newly announced Death Stranding 2-themed PS5 controller, now available for preorder, might also catch your interest.
