Begin your journey by accepting the side quest "Lackey," which you can obtain from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek's home, located to the west of Tachov. Alternatively, you can initiate the quest by talking to Vitek, who is slightly southeast of the house (marked as B on the map). This sets you on a path northward, where you'll encounter Vostatek being attacked by wolves.

After rescuing Vostatek from the wolves, he'll ask you to carry him to his camping site where his horse, Pepik, is tied up. Follow his directions carefully, keeping an eye on your stamina to ensure you don't drop Vostatek.
Upon reaching the campsite, you'll discover that Pepik is missing. You'll need to follow the traces left by Pepik along the path. As you near each clue, a prompt will appear to examine it. After inspecting each clue, continue along the path until you arrive at a poacher's camp.
As Vostatek suspected, Pepik has been taken by poachers. You'll find him at the back of their camp. Fortunately, the poachers move around, allowing you to engage them in smaller groups of one or two at a time rather than facing them all at once. It's easier to take down the poachers who wander to the camp's edges, and many will plead for mercy before you finish them off. You can also bypass the two more challenging opponents in the camp by quickly riding Pepik away before they can attack. Note that there's no chance to rest between rescuing Vostatek and finding Pepik, so your health might be compromised depending on how the wolf fight went.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's camp. When you speak with Vostatek, you have the option to ride back to his home with him, which is the fastest travel option. Upon arrival, you'll be rewarded with Groschen and a place to stay whenever you need it.
With Pepik safely back with Vostatek in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you can now pursue other quests or explore romantic storylines. The substantial sum of money you've earned also allows you to purchase additional equipment if needed.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
