If you're a fan of Special Illustration Rares, this set is a must-have — cards like Terapagos ex (170/142) and Bulbasaur (143/142) are visually stunning. The prices for these cards are already on the rise. Personally, I'm fond of Squirtle (148/142) for its playful energy, capturing the essence of a classic Gen I Pokémon.

The best part about picking up a Stellar Crown triple-pack blister? The value is solid, whether you're opening them for fun or holding onto them as an investment. Beyond Greninja, Twilight Masquerade is filled with other gems. I'm particularly drawn to Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex (216/167) — a powerhouse card with a unique playstyle. Its Special Illustration Rare artwork feels like it's straight out of a Studio Ghibli film. Cassiopeia (094/064) is another standout, one of the best Trainer cards in recent years for both its collectible and playable qualities. If you want to get ahead of the curve, these blisters are currently easy to find.

I'm particularly fond of the Special Illustration Rare Pecharunt ex (093/064). It's arguably the best promo Legendary we've seen in a while, and the Pecharunt-themed deck is incredibly fun to play. I'm also betting on Persian (078/064) as a sleeper hit for collectors. This Gen I artwork card has the potential to appreciate significantly in the Pokémon TCG market.

Obsidian Flames hasn't received the attention it deserves, especially considering it's a Charizard-centric set. That makes the triple-pack blisters an excellent deal at current prices. Everyone knows Charizard ex (Special Illustration Rare, 228/197) is the star of the show, but even the regular Charizard ex (Ultra Rare, 125/197) is seeing strong demand. History shows that any set featuring Charizard is a solid investment before prices skyrocket.

However, my personal favorite in this set is Ninetales (Illustration Rare, 190/197). The artwork is breathtaking — possibly the best Ninetales card ever printed. For collectors, these blisters are worth picking up for the Charizard appeal alone, but there's much more to Obsidian Flames than just fire-breathing dragons.

I have a soft spot for Shiny Pokémon cards, and Paldean Fates is packed with them. With over 130 Shiny Pokémon, this set is incredibly fun to open. However, I think these blisters are particularly worth grabbing now because of Shiny Pikachu (131/091), which is already fetching nearly £50. As demand increases and with no assurance of another Shiny Pikachu set soon, its value is likely to rise.

Shiny Gardevoir ex (233/091) is another highlight, boasting both stunning visuals and strong playability. For fans of Gen I nostalgia, Charmander (109/091) and Charmeleon (110/091) are essential picks — they're key components of one of the best Charizard decks in the Standard format right now. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire evolution line becomes pricey in the future.
