Stalker 2: Unlock the Cavalier Rifle

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl boasts a diverse arsenal, letting you tailor your loadout to your preferred playstyle. Beyond the standard issue, you can discover unique weapons with special modifications and increased power – the Cavalier sniper rifle being a prime example. This unique weapon features a red-dot sight instead of a traditional scope, making it exceptionally effective at short to medium ranges.

How to Acquire the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

The Cavalier Sniper Rifle awaits within the Duga base, specifically near the Military Unit. You'll find it inside a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously explored Duga to locate the Journalist's stash, accessing this area should be straightforward via the secondary entrance.

Accessing the Warehouse Near the Duga Base Military Unit

Upon entering Duga, head towards the Military Unit building indicated on your map. Circumvent the building itself to reach the greenhouse at its rear. Exercise caution; two Pseudogiants patrol this area and will attack on sight. Approach the greenhouse carefully to avoid a confrontation.

Proceed through the greenhouse into the warehouse. Be prepared for a swarm of rats upon entry; they'll quickly deplete your health. Utilize the elevated green platforms at the warehouse's back to gain a tactical advantage. A well-placed grenade can swiftly eliminate the rodent threat.

Retrieving the Cavalier Rifle

With the rats dispatched, examine the warehouse ceiling above the greenhouse entrance. You'll spot wooden boards painted yellow. Shoot these boards with your weapon to dislodge the Cavalier sniper rifle.

Retrieve the weapon and safely exit Duga. Further upgrade the Cavalier's already impressive damage and accuracy with modifications from Screw, the technician at Rostok base. The red-dot sight makes it ideal for close to medium-range engagements, perfect for players who prefer a scope-less sniper rifle experience.
