Simpsons: Tapped Out Shutters After 10 Years

EA's popular mobile game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, is ending its run after twelve years. The game, initially launched in 2012 on Apple's App Store and 2013 on Google Play, will be unavailable for download starting October 31st, 2024. Servers will shut down completely on January 24th, 2025. In-app purchases have already been disabled.

EA expressed gratitude to its players for their decade-long support, highlighting the successful partnership with The Simpsons and The Walt Disney Company.

This freemium game regularly featured updates aligned with the show's storylines and seasonal events. While the game is free, "donuts" are the in-game currency driving the action.
