The ideal candidate should boast experience in a variety of genres, including third-person action, open-world adventures, and melee combat games. This has led many to believe that Rocksteady might be revisiting the beloved Batman universe, the franchise that catapulted the studio to fame.

The Batman: Arkham series, known for its focus on melee combat and open-world exploration, aligns perfectly with the job description, unlike Rocksteady's most recent release, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which leaned more towards gunplay.
