Pokémon TCG Freebies: Collect Trade Tokens for Enhanced Gameplay

Pokémon TCG Pocket's trading feature launch has been underwhelming, despite high player demand. This led developers to announce a rework of the trading system.
As a temporary measure, all players will receive 1,000 Trade Tokens via the in-game Gifts menu. Trade Tokens are an in-game currency necessary for card trading. This giveaway aims to alleviate player frustration while the trading system is revised.
The original trading system faced criticism for its restrictions, including rarity limitations on tradable cards and the requirement of Trade Tokens. Many believed these restrictions were unnecessary and hampered the trading experience.
Reworking the Trading System
A simpler, more open trading system, or the absence of trading altogether, might have avoided the current controversy. While concerns about bot exploitation are valid, the existing restrictions likely posed minimal obstacles to determined players.
The upcoming rework is crucial. A well-implemented digital trading system could significantly enhance Pokémon TCG Pocket's appeal as a viable alternative to the physical card game.
