NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After four years, this mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's hit title will be officially discontinued. While the PC and console versions remain unaffected, Android users will see the game's servers shut down.
For the uninitiated, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a thrilling 4v1 asymmetrical horror game. Players assume the roles of either Killer or Survivor, engaging in a tense game of cat and mouse. Killers hunt and sacrifice Survivors to the Entity, while Survivors must evade capture and escape.
Dead by Daylight Mobile's Final Curtain:
The game's official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will remain available for download on app stores until January 16th, 2025, after which it will be removed. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date.
NetEase will process refunds according to regional laws, with further details on the refund process to be released on January 16th, 2025.
Existing players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A special Welcome Package awaits those who make the switch, and loyalty rewards will be granted based on in-app purchases and XP accumulated on the mobile version.
Before the servers go dark, download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store and experience the thrill for yourself. For more gaming news, check out our article on Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game for Android.
