Capcom has unveiled the first major patch details for *Monster Hunter Wilds*, slated for release in early April. This update, known as Title Update 1, comes just over a month after the game's monumental launch, giving players ample time to gear up for new content and challenges.

Title Update 1 introduces a new level of challenge with the inclusion of a monster that surpasses even the Tempered level in difficulty. Capcom encourages hunters to prepare their gear and resolve, stating, "TU1 will bring with it a monster of formidable strength at a level above Tempered!" Additionally, another challenging monster will join the fray with this update.

A significant addition to the game will be a new gathering spot for endgame players. Capcom describes it as "a new place to meet, communicate, have meals together and more with other hunters." This area will become accessible to those who have completed the main storyline, providing a much-anticipated social hub for players to connect and strategize.

Reactions to the new gathering spot have been mixed. While some players are excited about the addition, others question its absence at the game's launch. This new area is reminiscent of the Gathering Hubs from previous *Monster Hunter* titles, though Capcom has chosen not to use that term here. The game currently lacks a dedicated social hub, and it's hoped that this new area will fill that gap effectively.

Capcom has shared several images to give a glimpse of this new gathering space:

Amidst the release, Capcom also provided a troubleshooting guide for *Monster Hunter Wilds* in response to 'mixed' Steam user reviews. For those starting their journey, resources are available to uncover what the game doesn't explicitly tell you, a comprehensive guide to all 14 weapon types, a detailed walkthrough in progress, a multiplayer guide to facilitate playing with friends, and instructions on transferring your character from the open beta.

IGN's review of *Monster Hunter Wilds* awarded it an 8/10, noting that "Monster Hunter Wilds continues to smooth off the rougher corners of the series in smart ways, making for some extremely fun fights but also lacking any real challenge."
