First up, let's introduce the Cloudspire Coordinator. This uncommon creature is a key player in the red-white color pairing, embodying the spirit of the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem, which was first showcased in Magic's 2018 set, Battlebond. This card not only brings a sense of the racing theme to your deck but also emphasizes the mechanics of using and piloting vehicles. With a power of 3, it can crew vehicles directly, and its activated ability allows you to create Pilot token creatures to take the wheel, making it an excellent addition to any red-white deck during an Aetherdrift draft.

Next, we unveil the rare enchantment, Count on Luck. This 3-mana card, with its straightforward all-red-pip casting cost, introduces an "impulse draw" mechanic to your game. At the beginning of your turn, you'll exile the top card of your library and have the opportunity to play it that turn. This feature is a game-changer for mono-red decks, offering a constant flow of new cards to play, provided you can utilize them immediately. It's a case of "use it or lose it," adding a strategic layer to your gameplay.

We also want to showcase the extended-art and First-Place Foil versions of Count on Luck. While the extended-art version expands the art box for a broader visual experience, the First-Place Foils introduce a new element to Aetherdrift. These dazzling golden cards are exclusively available through a randomized buy-a-box promo pack with every Aetherdrift box purchase. Both the rares in the set and 10 full-art lands will receive this prestigious treatment.

Aetherdrift will hit the shelves, both in physical and digital formats, on February 14, with prereleases starting on February 7. To delve deeper into the set's mechanics and prepare for the race, check out the detailed guide here.
