According to Katherine Baskin, Arrowhead's Social Media and Community Manager, this Warbond isn't just about cosmetic tweaks—it's a comprehensive arsenal upgrade designed to transform players into Super Earth's official Truth Enforcers.

For those new to the concept, Warbonds in Helldivers 2 operate similarly to a battle pass in other live-service games. Players can use earned Medals to unlock various items. Unlike traditional battle passes, Warbonds are evergreen, meaning once purchased, you retain permanent access and can unlock items at your own pace. The Truth Enforcers Warbond will be available for purchase in the Acquisitions Center within the Destroyer ship’s menu for 1,000 Super Credits.

As detailed on the official PlayStation Blog, the Truth Enforcers Warbond focuses on upholding the Ministry of Truth’s ideals. Players will gain access to an array of advanced weaponry and armor sets, all tailored to enhance your Helldiver's combat effectiveness.

To demonstrate your loyalty to Super Earth, equip the new PLAS-15 Loyalist Plasma Pistol, a versatile sidearm that offers both semi-automatic fire for quick responses and charged shots for heavier damage. For those needing more firepower, the SMG-32 Reprimand is a fast-firing submachine gun perfect for close-quarters combat. Meanwhile, the SG-20 Halt shotgun is ideal for crowd control, capable of switching between stun rounds and armor-penetrating flechette rounds.

For those who wish to showcase their dedication to Super Earth’s ideals, the Warbond includes two new armor sets: the UF-16 Inspector and the UF-50 Bloodhound. The UF-16 Inspector is a sleek, light armor set with red accents and the "Proof of Faultless Virtue" cape, ideal for players who prioritize mobility and style. The UF-50 Bloodhound, a medium armor set, offers more protection with its red accents and the "Pride of the Whistleblower" cape. Helldivers 2’s Promising Future Despite Initial Player Base Decline

Despite a strong launch earlier this year, with a peak of 458,709 concurrent Steam players (excluding PS5 players), Helldivers 2 has seen a decline in its player base. This drop is largely due to the game being inaccessible in over 177 countries following Sony's initial requirement to link Steam accounts to the PlayStation Network. Although Sony reversed this decision, the game remains unavailable in these regions.

The game's concurrent player count on Steam fell to around 30,000, but the August Escalation of Freedom update temporarily boosted it to over 60,000. However, it couldn't sustain this increase, and the current Steam player count hovers just below 40,000.
