Flexispot's Spring Sale is here, offering up to 60% off their most popular standing desks and ergonomic chairs. We appreciate Flexispot for providing quality electric standing desks packed with features at significantly lower prices than their well-known counterparts. Our team has rated Flexispot's top-of-the-line model, the E7 Pro, as the best overall standing desk of 2025. Having used a Flexispot desk for years myself, I can confidently say I wouldn't spend more on a supposedly "better" desk.

The Flexispot C7 is packed with features typically found in much pricier chairs. It boasts an automatically adjusting lumbar system, adjustable seat depth, adjustable armrests, adjustable seat tilt, adjustable headrest, and up to 128 degrees of recline, among others.
The FlexiSpot C7 is a solid chair, but for its price, I would have preferred a more premium-feeling material, such as leather or a leather-like substitute, instead of fabric. Additionally, I found the cushioning to be less than ideal, and the inability to lock the wrist rests in place can be mildly annoying. If you value adjustability and can overlook these minor quirks, the C7 is a good choice. Its understated design fits well in professional office settings, but if you're after something flashier or more luxurious, you might want to look elsewhere.

In my opinion, the Flexispot E5 offers the best value for an electric standing desk while still providing all the premium features you could want. Currently priced at $199.99 (originally $379.99) for the base only, with desktop surfaces starting at $80, the E5 is the most affordable model with dual motors. These motors can support up to 287 pounds and distribute stress evenly for a longer lifespan. The desk's double crossbeam structure ensures even support, preventing any sagging. The steel legs feature a 3-stage column, which is superior to the typical 2-stage columns found in this price range, allowing for a wider vertical range from 23.6" to 49.2". The essential anti-collision feature stops the desk upon detecting an obstruction. The keypad offers three memory presets and a timer to remind you to switch between sitting and standing. The E5 comes with a 10-year warranty on all metal, mechanical, and electrical components, including the motor.

For an additional $140, the Flexispot E7 provides enhanced build quality, a higher weight threshold of 355 pounds, more accessories, and an extended warranty. The legs have a professional look with laser-welded seams and a powder-coated finish, with no visible holes. The advanced keypad includes an LCD display, more memory presets, a built-in USB charger, and a child-lock feature. The E7 also features a built-in cable tray for managing your wires. It comes with a 15-year warranty on all metal, mechanical, and electrical components, including the motor.

The E7 Pro is Flexispot's premier standing desk, recently released and not as heavily discounted as other models. Priced at $419.99 (originally $599.99) for the base only, with desktop surfaces starting at $80, it boasts the highest build quality with a weight capacity of 440 pounds. Flexispot claims the E7 Pro's motor is superior, offering smoother and faster movement than standard dual motor setups. It includes advanced cable management options and comes with the same 15-year warranty as the E7 on all components, including the motor. This is arguably the best standing desk deal available right now.
"The FlexiSpot E7 Pro stands out with its simple but effective keypad, quiet dual motors, near-perfect cable management, and excellent stability. It's a top-tier standing desk suitable for both work and gaming. Whether it's your first desk or an upgrade, it's hard to find a better option in this price range."
I own three standing desks. One came with a desktop, while for the other two, I sourced my own surfaces. For one, I bought a massive 74"x26" maple veneered countertop from Ikea for $199. For the other, I purchased a 48"x25" solid wood countertop from Home Depot and finished it myself. You can't go wrong with either choice, and there are many more options available. The point is, these standing desk bases don't require the manufacturer's desktops. If you want to install your own, as long as it's within the weight limitations, go for it.
From personal experience, I own a Jarvis Fully, a Vari Ergo, and a Flexispot E5. All three are excellent desks that have served me well for over three years. The Flexispot E5 is significantly less expensive than the other two, and it's hard to see where the extra cost for the others goes. For the price of a barebones Jarvis Fully, you could get the top-end Flexispot E7 Pro and still have money left over.
