Week 2 of the Blast from the Past event in *The Sims 4* is in full swing, sending players on a thrilling journey across the map to unravel the mystery. However, a seemingly simple task is proving to be a roadblock for many. Here's a detailed guide on how to study a Historical Display in *The Sims 4*.
One of the quests in Blast from the Past Week 2 requires you to study a Historical Display at a museum. If you're a seasoned *The Sims 4* player, you likely know the location of your local museum. For newcomers, simply open your map and look for a building marked with an icon featuring pillars. There are four default museums, but the most convenient ones to visit are Municipal Muses in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs, as they are close to other tasks in the event.
Once you've located and traveled to a museum, it's time to dive in and start studying. In *The Sims 4*, both paintings and sculptures count as Historical Displays. Choose the one that catches your eye and click on it. You'll be prompted to "View" the Historical Display, and you'll know you've completed the challenge when the Emit icon appears.
Despite the simplicity of the task, many players are encountering issues. It appears that mods are interfering with the "View" button, preventing players from studying the displays. Some have even tried removing all their mods to progress through the event, but without success. Hopefully, EA is aware of this issue and working on a fix. In the meantime, the best strategy is to attempt to study as many items as possible at various museums.
