While the main storyline in Rinascita, Wuthering Waves, covers most of the region, several compelling locations are reserved for exploration quests. One such quest, "Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms," challenges players to dispel a massive storm in Rinascita's northeastern area.

Although optional, completing this quest is highly recommended, especially since a Nightmare Echo in WuWa is trapped within Fagaceae Peninsula's storm-ravaged ruins. Prepare for a lengthy adventure; equip your strongest Resonators and get ready for a challenging journey.

Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms Walkthrough

This exploration quest is combat-heavy. Begin at the base of the ruins south of Shores of Last Breath, interacting with the damaged Lumiscale Construct on the ground. The quest objectives are:

1. Activate three steles in designated locations.
2. Return and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
3. Chase and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
4. Defeat the Lumiscale Construct (final encounter).
5. Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.

Activating the Steles

The Discipline Steles on the marked altars charge slowly while standing on the central glowing circle. Enemies interrupting this process will hinder progress; eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from the altar will cause its energy to deplete.

Utilize the enhanced elemental damage and status effects introduced in the 2.0 update to your advantage.

For the third stele set, quickly position them before enemy spawns. If struggling to interact with the broken steles, adjust your character and camera angle until a prompt appears.

Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct

Use your team's most powerful Resonators to attack the Lumiscale Construct upon returning to the starting area. A cutscene will initiate after significantly reducing its health, prompting you to pursue it deeper into the ruins.

The environment becomes more hazardous during the chase. Beware of falling debris and lightning strikes, eliminating all enemies encountered. A final confrontation with the Lumiscale Construct awaits, concluding this phase.

The Dragon of Dirge

This formidable enemy can easily stunlock or even one-shot characters. Evade its breath and falling star attacks, aiming to stagger it quickly. The optimal strategy is to wait for its powerful attacks to end and then immediately stun it.

Upon defeating the dragon, the quest concludes. Access to the remaining areas of Shores of Last Breath opens up, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the arena at the peninsula's northern end.
