EA confirmed the release window of the new Battlefield

Electronic Arts has confirmed a pre-April 2026 release window for the next Battlefield game, according to their recent financial report. While industry journalist Tom Henderson, based on EA's past release schedules, speculates an October or November 2025 launch, EA itself has not offered a more precise date.

Development is underway across four of EA's internal studios, with significant playtesting planned. A closed beta program is already in progress, allowing selected players to experience core gameplay elements and provide valuable feedback for final adjustments before launch.

This announcement also clarifies the future of the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS title is not expected in the near future, as the development of this Battlefield installment holds top priority.
