In Ivy Road and Annapurna Interactive's Wanderstop, players manage a charming tea shop in a magical forest as Alta, a weary warrior finding solace in rest and recovery. The shop attracts diverse customers with unique requests, including the unexpected: coffee. Here's how to unlock and brew this non-standard beverage.
Which Customers Want Coffee in Wanderstop?
During Wanderstop's fourth cycle, a bird-like customer requests a refined tea. Following this, three indistinguishable businessmen—Jerry, Larry, and Terry—arrive, needing coffee for their upcoming presentation. They refuse tea, choosing to wait until coffee is available. Boro, the shop owner, reveals coffee has never grown in the forest. However, Zenith, an interdimensional being fascinated by the businessmen, changes everything. Zenith, unfamiliar with tea, compares it to coffee, leading to a pivotal moment.
How to Unlock Coffee Beans in Wanderstop
Prepare a cup of tea for Zenith, adding a valuable item—a book, trinket, plant, etc. After tasting, Zenith inquires about coffee, and Alta mentions "coffee beans." Zenith then uses the Infinite Path to introduce coffee beans to the forest, adding instructions to Alta's Field Guide.
How to Harvest and Brew Coffee in Wanderstop
Coffee beans now grow in the clearing, respawning randomly. Harvest them like other ingredients. Clean them in the dishwasher before brewing. Brewing involves adding water to the tea maker, heating (optional), pouring into the infuser using the gear, adding a coffee bean (or more, with other ingredients), and decanting into mugs. Serving coffee pleases the businessmen, Zenith, and even Boro (though he's not a huge fan).
This completes the process of unlocking, harvesting, and brewing coffee in Wanderstop.
Wanderstop is available for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam.
