Battlecruisers Marks 4th Anniversary with Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang, as Mecha Weka unveils the monumental 'Trans Edition' update for version 6.4. This update is packed with exciting new content for both single-player and multiplayer enthusiasts, enhancing the game's already rich universe.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

The 'Trans Edition' introduces three new cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, each bringing unique capabilities to the battlefield. Additionally, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, along with two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now available, expanding strategic options for players.

Existing cruisers are not left behind, as they receive new customization options through three fresh bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, allowing for more personalized gameplay experiences.

In Skirmishes, players can now select from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, adding variety to the combat scenarios. PvP matches have been enhanced with a new countdown start and aircraft trails that now match player colors, making for a more immersive experience.

Balancing changes are significant across the board. Notable buffs include the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate increasing from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health rising from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret sees its damage boosted from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16, ensuring a more dynamic gameplay balance.

Visually, Battlecruisers 6.4 introduces underwater transparency, allowing players to admire the wreckage of their defeated foes. The sea now features enhanced shading, and the visual effects for cruiser and ship destruction have been upgraded for a more dramatic impact.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its debut in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The 'Trans Edition' continues this tradition by adding more SideQuests and introducing a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific, promising new adventures for players.

Set in a Flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game's world is inhabited solely by robots engaged in construction and warfare. Players command their own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to navigate the perilous landscape and confront formidable enemies.
