Avowed: Ultimate Guide to Finding All Treasure Map Locations

In each region of Avowed, you can uncover three Treasure Maps, requiring you to explore various locations across the game to track down their hidden treasures using the clues provided.

To earn the Pathfinder Achievement by collecting all items from Treasure Maps, follow this guide for detailed steps on locating every map in the first three regions of Avowed.

All Treasure Map Locations in Avowed

The game’s four regions—Dawnshore, Emerald Stair, Shatterscarp, and Galawain’s Tusks—host a total of 12 Treasure Maps. Some are easily grabbed by fast-traveling to a location, while others demand precise navigation and specific actions.

As we locate each map and its treasure, we’ll link to detailed walkthroughs for each map’s section, allowing you to solve them immediately.

We’ll soon update this guide with the final three map locations in Galawain’s Tusks, so bookmark it and check back for more details.

Dawnshore Treasure Maps

Intimidating Feline Codpiece

The simplest Treasure Map to find in Avowed, the Intimidating Feline Codpiece is available early in Paradise by speaking with Lyanna, a merchant in Claviger’s Landing.

If you missed Lyanna early on, fast-travel to the Claviger’s Landing Beacon, walk forward, and find her as the second merchant on your left. At her shop, The Best Offense, you can purchase the Treasure Map—Intimidating Feline Codpiece for 100 coins.

Captain Henqua’s Spoils

Find the Captain Henqua’s Spoils Treasure Map near the top of the Lighthouse, located to the left of Claviger’s Landing, as marked in the image above.

Climb until you spot a skeleton on a wooden platform, where Captain Henqua’s Spoils is the third item you can loot. Continue to the Lighthouse’s peak to discover a chest containing the unique Arcanist’s Boots.

Woedica’s Inheritance

To acquire the Woedica’s Inheritance Treasure Map, head to Sanza’s Emporium, located southeast of Paradise Hightown.

The fastest route is through the eastern entrance of Paradise Hightown. Enter the streets, turn left at the stairs, and proceed until you reach the door of the building shown in the image above.

Speak with Sanza to purchase the Treasure Map—Woedica’s Inheritance for 100 coins.

Emerald Stair Treasure Map Locations in Avowed

Painter’s Regret

In Emerald Stair, the Painter’s Regret Treasure Map lies in a house southeast of the Farmer’s Market Beacon. Fast-travel there, and the house is a short walk away, possibly guarded by enemies.

The front door is barred, so locate the side entrance on the right side of the house to enter. Inside, find the Treasure Map—Painter’s Regret displayed on a canvas.

Practical Pockets

The Practical Pockets Treasure Map is located at The Gifted Magpie shop in Fior mes Iverno, within Emerald Stair.

From Fior mes Iverno’s main entrance, pass the fountain and head toward the building marked in the map above. Speak with Ector Brewer to buy the Treasure Map—Practical Pockets for 660 coins.

Earthly Eigis

The Earthly Eigis Treasure Map in Avowed is hidden in an isolated room near Naku Tedek’s entrance, accessible via a bridging branch, as marked on the map and shown in the image above.

From the party camp, head to Naku Tedek’s door, turn right, pass the blue mushrooms, and move toward the tents. Slip through the gap between the two marquees at the back, where a stone oven will be on your left.

Make a running jump across the branch to the hole, and your character will climb through. The Treasure Map—Earthly Eigis awaits inside a chest.

Shatterscarp Treasure Maps

Robe of the Arcane Cheater

Located west of Shark’s Teeth in Shatterscarp, the Robe of the Arcane Cheater Treasure Map is available from Ihaka at her shop, The Thrifty Pig.

Fast-travel to Tago’s Tower Beacon, head up the hill, and carefully descend the cliff toward the merchant marker on your mini-map. Speak with Ihaka to purchase the Treasure Map—Robe of the Arcane Cheater for 1680 coins.

Dead Man’s Trail

From the Shark’s Mouth Beacon, head south to the center of the Great Grand Sea area to find the Dead Man’s Trail Treasure Map inside a tent at the marked location.

Loot the Treasure Map—Dead Man’s Trail from a corpse inside the tent. Be prepared to clear nearby Dreamthrall enemies to reach it safely.

Seafarer’s Boots

In Shatterscarp’s desert, start at the Thirdborn party camp and cross the narrow ridge marked above to reach the Seafarer’s Boots Treasure Map, where Loato, an NPC, is talking to himself.

Find the Treasure Map—Seafarer’s Boots among the bundle of belongings on a blanket behind Loato.
