Alien Movies in (Chronological) Order

1. AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004)

The Xenomorph story begins chronologically with the first of the two crossover films, AVP: Alien vs. Predator. Directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, this film, set in 2004, brings to life a "battle of the titans" concept that originated in a 1989 comic. It reveals that Predators, known as the "Yautja," have been visiting Earth for millennia. Ancient cults worshipped them and sacrificed themselves to a Xenomorph Queen's facehuggers to produce adult Xenomorphs for the Predators to hunt as the "ultimate prey." Unfortunately, the Predators' 2004 hunting trip takes a disastrous turn.

2. Aliens vs Predator: Requiem (2007)

Set in modern times and occurring before the rest of the Alien franchise, the crossover sequel Aliens vs Predator: Requiem continues directly from AVP. An Alien-Predator hybrid, the "Predalien," is now loose in a small Colorado town. A veteran Predator arrives to clean up the mess, resulting in extensive carnage.
