Albion Online's Rogue Frontier Update: Smugglers, Rewards, and New Weapons

Sandbox Interactive's medieval fantasy MMORPG, Albion Online, is set to release its next major update, Rogue Frontier, on February 3rd. This update focuses on a new faction: The Smugglers.

Outlands Adventures:

The Smugglers, rebels defying the Royal Continent's strict laws, have established hidden bases known as Smuggler's Dens throughout the lawless Outlands. These dens serve as central hubs for banking, repairs, and expedition planning, connected by a sophisticated network linking Outlands marketplaces. Players can aid the Smugglers in their ongoing conflict with the Royal Guards, participating in missions like rescuing captured Smugglers or delivering contraband.

Loyalty Rewards:

By assisting the Smugglers, players earn rewards from Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader residing in the dens. These rewards include a Smuggler's Vanity Set, a Smuggler's Cape (featuring a potion cooldown reduction ability), a Smuggler's Ring, and a Smuggler's Avatar.

New Additions:

Rogue Frontier introduces Kill Trophies, dropped by defeated players. The value of the defeated player's loot directly impacts the chance of obtaining a trophy. The update also brings stylish new weapons: the Rotcaller Staff (summoning a mist to repel enemies), the Skystrider Bow (allowing levitation and ranged attacks), and the Forcepulse Bracers (delivering shockwaves during dashes).
