Hez2: A Popular Moroccan Card Game

Hez2 is a classic Moroccan card game perfect for family fun. This turn-based game supports up to four players, offering engaging gameplay for one, two, or three players as well. The goal is simple: be the first to get rid of all your cards.

Gameplay:

On a player's turn, they must play a card that matches either the suit or rank of the card previously played. If a player has no matching card, they must draw a card from the deck. Even with a playable card, a player may choose to draw instead.

Special Cards:

• 2: When a two is played, the next player must draw two cards. If they also have a two, they can choose to play it (forcing the next player to draw four), or draw the two cards. This continues until a player without a two draws the cumulative total.

• 7: Playing a seven allows the player to change the required suit/color for the next card played.

• 10: Playing a ten forces the player to take another turn immediately. If the ten is their last card, they must draw a card.

• 12: (3 or 4 player games only) Playing a twelve skips the next player's turn.

The game ends when a player plays their last card (with special rules applying if the last card is a two or ten). That player is declared the winner.

Card Composition:

Hez2 uses a 40-card deck with four suits:

• 10 Copas (Tbaye9)
• 10 Espadas (Syouf)
• 10 Oros (D'hab)
• 10 Bastos (Zrawéte)

Each suit contains cards numbered 1-7, 10-12.
