How to Use Downloader by AFTVnews:
Upon launching the app, you can either enter a file's direct URL on the home screen or use the built-in browser to find and download files.
- Home Screen: Directly paste the file URL for immediate download.
- Built-in Browser: Requires the Downloader Browser Plugin (sideload it by entering
browser.aftvnews.cominto the home screen URL field). The browser supports remotes and game controllers, offering fullscreen mode, zoom, and bookmark management.
Downloader simplifies internet file downloads for Android TV devices. Use direct URLs or the browser plugin (with remote/controller support) for downloading from websites. The plugin also functions as a full-featured web browser. Downloaded files are easily managed via the app's built-in file manager, allowing installation (for APKs) or deletion.
