Each player receives five cards (seven in a two-player game), vying to be the first to empty their hand. Players discard cards matching the rank or suit of the top card on the discard pile. If a player lacks a playable card, they draw from the stock pile until they can make a legal move.

The game incorporates exciting special cards: Aces reverse the playing direction; Queens skip the next player’s turn; Twos force the next player to draw two cards (unless they can play another Two, allowing for "stacking"); and Eights grant the player the power to choose the suit for the next round.
