ArtClash is designed to help people practice drawing, sketching, and cartooning every day.

This is a work in progress with the first game complete, and more content on the way.

You can freely draw anything or choose a topic, set optional constraints like time limits, color restrictions, or canvas size, create your piece, and earn points when others correctly guess it!

This personal project was created for my wife and me to practice daily and motivate others to do the same.

Current features:

• Paint - Sketch, paint, and blend colors

• Import images to use as references or paint over them

• Select topics and constraints, draw, and earn points for each correct guess

• Six difficulty levels for topics, ranging from single words to combinations of up to five words (nouns, verbs, places, time periods)

• Choose from three constraints for bonus points: time, color limits, or canvas size

• Draw anything you want and share it with the community

• NSFW flag to control whether you view other users' images marked as not safe for work

Current early access issues and bugs:

• Basic UI: The Unity interface has been challenging, and we plan to replace it with XAML for better responsiveness

• For lower-end devices, try keeping canvas sizes under 1024x1024. The GPU-accelerated brush engine may slow down with large canvases and small brushes. We are testing other engines for performance and will deliver a faster solution.

Upcoming features:

• New games (starting with a drawing-based "telephone" game)

• Enhanced social features: customizable avatars, comments on projects and completed games, friend connections, and follow options

• Improved UI and a faster brush engine

• Marquee selection and transform tools

• Additional brush options (support for custom brush textures and user-created brushes)

• Advanced layer system with transparent pixel locking and masking

• Developer communication: a feedback system for feature requests, bug reporting, and community voting on updates

• Moderator roles: allowing trusted users to review flagged content and assist with community management

• User-submitted topics and constraints that can be added after moderation

• Future support for full image editing, animation, scripting, and game or storyboard prototyping

Due to performance limitations with large textures and the current lack of advanced editing tools, this app is optimized for social engagement and competition rather than professional image editing at this stage.
