Discover Two Engaging Strategy Board Games!
This article introduces two popular strategy board games prevalent in rural Bangladesh: 3 Beads and 16 Beads. Both are two-player games offering unique challenges.
3 Beads (৩ গুটি): A game reminiscent of Tic-Tac-Toe, but with a twist. Each player begins with three pieces instead of empty spaces. Players strategically move their pieces to create a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line (excluding starting positions). The first to complete a line wins.
16 Beads (১৬ গুটি): Similar in concept to Checkers, this game features 16 pieces per player. Players move one piece at a time to an adjacent unoccupied space. The strategic element lies in capturing opponent's pieces by jumping over them. A player can continue their turn after a capture if another capture is immediately possible. The player who eliminates all of their opponent's 16 pieces wins.
