Let's face it, the Pokémon TCG can be a wallet-draining hobby, but that doesn't mean we have to overpay for our beloved cardboard. Amazon has just released a fantastic selection of bundles, including Surging Sparks, Journey Together, and Paldean Fates. If you've been convincing yourself that you're just buying "a few packs for the kids," now's your chance to stock up while pretending it's not for you. I'm not judging; I'm doing the same thing.

I also want to highlight the Mass Effect statues available at the IGN Store. My bookshelf was apparently not crowded enough with plastic space heroes, so I pre-ordered Jack because chaos is fun. Commander Shepard and the crew are also up for pre-order. There's also a Humble Bundle filled with narrative indies that seem to say, "You have emotions, deal with them." All in all, it's a perfect day for some impulsive yet justifiable purchases.

I picked up Surging Sparks because six booster packs for under $50 is a better deal than what Amazon has been offering lately (though it's still above MSRP). I wanted something new to open, and since it's part of the latest Scarlet & Violet expansion, it's a great choice if you're looking to stay current or enjoy the thrill of pulling a good card.

This collection is perfect for those who value both presentation and the thrill of the pull. It includes six packs, a full-art promo, and an elaborate display sheet. It's also a great way to get your hands on Journey Together packs along with a stunning promo card.

If you've replayed Mass Effect more than once, you know why these statues are tempting. I pre-ordered Jack because it felt necessary. The collection includes Shepard, Tali, Legion, and others, and they're impressive enough that I've already cleared space on my shelf. If you're still quoting Garrus unironically, these are definitely for you.

Paldean Fates is priced at double MSRP, but it's also very hard to find in 2025. I grabbed it for the baby shiny sub-set, but if you're just after specific cards from this set, buying them individually might actually save you money.

This bundle includes some of the best narrative indies from recent years. I paid the $12, added the games to my backlog, and immediately started playing The Pale Beyond. It's a strong lineup if you enjoy character-driven games and don't mind the occasional emotional impact of minimalist storytelling.

This box is perfect for those who want cards and a range of accessories. It includes nine booster packs, a promo card, sleeves, dice, and various extras that make you feel like you're doing more than just opening packs. It's an excellent choice if you like a bit of structure with your chaos.

I hesitated at first, but then I remembered it comes with 18 booster packs and a playmat. It's a significant investment, but if you're looking for a premium bundle that justifies the price, this one does. I bought it more for the experience than for individual cards, and that's the right approach.

I picked up the Shining Fates Pikachu V because I never opened it when it first came out, and now seemed like the perfect time. It includes four booster packs, a Pikachu promo, and an oversized card that usually ends up near your desk. It's standard but a nice nostalgic touch if you missed it the first time around.
