The much-anticipated Bug Out event is making its return to Pokémon Go, running from March 26th to 30th. This event promises an exciting lineup of Bug-type Pokémon, featuring the debut of Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch. Get ready for a flurry of wild encounters, engaging raids, beneficial bonuses, and fresh challenges that will keep you engaged throughout the event.

During the Bug Out event, Lure Modules will be key to enhancing your experience. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but if you catch enough Pokémon using a single Lure Module at a PokéStop, you'll see an increase in spawns. This is your chance to maximize your encounters!

The event also offers 2x XP and additional Candy for Nice Throws or better, with a heightened chance of earning Candy XL for trainers at level 31 and above. If you're on the hunt for Shiny Pokémon, you'll be pleased to know that the odds of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede are improved during this period.

The wild will be buzzing with Bug-types, including frequent sightings of Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Keep your eyes peeled for the rare Cutiefly, which might make an appearance if luck is on your side.

In the raiding scene, Sizzlipede will headline one-star raids alongside Scyther and Nincada, while Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor will dominate the three-star raids. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will net you Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event-exclusive Pokémon.

Don't miss out on the free Timed Research, which offers encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, plus a Lure Module. For those looking to splurge a bit, a Paid Timed Research option is available for $2 or the local equivalent, featuring encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, along with two Premium Battle Passes and an additional Lure Module.

New Collection Challenges will reward you with Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters, while PokéStop Showcases will spotlight event-themed Pokémon. Be sure to check out the in-game shop for the new Sizzlipede Boots and a Scolipede Jacket to deck out your avatar in style.
